History: Galt Technology, Inc. has the unique claim to fame of literally being one of the oldest websites in the world. We got our start publishing online in 1994 and established our domain name in early 1995. What does this mean? Out of all the big-name sites out there, only Yahoo is older than us. We were around before Amazon, before Ebay, before Expedia, before PayPal, before ESPN.com, way before Google, before Craigslist. You name it, we were here first. As the Internet boom of 2000 approached, we were consistently ranked among the top 500 sites in the world. We are proud to think that this group of 500 helped create the Internet -- we were among the core early sites that created compelling online content that drove millions and millions of users to come online and visit our site, seeking out our reviews, newsletter, guides, software, and digital photos (back in the day when almost nobody had a digital camera!).
Today, we are best known for our Internet Guides, Buying Guides, Travel Guides, and product reviews. We compile and research tons of information, combine that with real world experiences, and present it in an organized, easy-to-read fashion that saves our visitors hours of time from doing their own research.
